Police: Woman struck by pickup truck suffers life-threatening injuries

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police say a 31-year-old woman suffered life-threatening injuries when she was struck by a pickup truck

It happened around 9:15 p.m. Sunday, July 31st.

Police say the woman was struck while she was crossing the street mid-block -- headed to her car, which was parked on the east side of the street.

The driver of the striking pickup truck -- a 30-year-old Milwaukee man, remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation, police say.

Police do not believe alcohol was a factor for the driver of the pickup.

The victim was taken to the hospital.
