Police take three into custody following burglary, foot pursuit

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police say three people are in custody following a burglary and foot chase that occurred on Monday morning, November 3rd.

It happened in the 7800 block of W. Mt. Vernon Avenue just before 9:00 a.m.

Police say three suspects burglarized a residence in the area -- taking electronics and three firearms.

Officers located the suspects shortly thereafter near N. 77th and W. Bluemound Road -- and a foot pursuit began.

The suspects, two 17-year-old boys and a 21-year-old man were arrested -- and all of the stolen items were recovered by police.

This case will be presented to the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office for charges.
