Police seek suspect in armed robbery of Subway restaurant



MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee Police are asking the public to help identify an armed robbery suspect who is accused of robbing a Subway restaurant at 1807 E. Locust Street on December 21st.

According to police, the suspect entered the business around 2:55 p.m. and robbed a customer at gunpoint. The suspect then pointed his handgun at a clerk and demanded money from the register.

The clerk complied and the suspect fled the scene with an undiscovered amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a black male, around 45-years-old, 6 feet tall, between 200-210 pounds, and a scar under his right eye. He was wearing a black winter hat, a black mask that covered his nose and mouth, black cloth gloves, a black hoodie, dark pants, and dark shoes.

He was armed with a black, long barrel handgun.
