Police seek suspect after woman shot, wounded near 6th and Keefe

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are seeking a suspect in connection with a shooting that happened early on Sunday, August 7th.

It happened shortly before 2:30 a.m.

Police say officers responded to the area near 6th and Keefe.

A 21-year-old woman said a suspect fired several gunshots toward a group of people for an unknown reason.

The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries. She was taken to the hospital by friends.

MPD is investigating.
