Police: Man, woman shot in separate incidents on Milwaukee's north side

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are investigating a pair of non-fatal shootings that happened on Friday, September 9th.

The first happened just after 11:30 a.m. near 26th and Nash on the city's north side. A 23-year old Milwaukee man was shot during circumstances that are still under investigation.  He suffered a non-life threatening injury and was taken to a hospital.

Around 12:30 p.m., police were called to investigate a shooting near 38th and Wright. A 23-year old Milwaukee woman was shot after she heard gun shots in the area. She suffered a non-life threatening injury and drove herself to a hospital.

Milwaukee police are seeking suspects in both cases.
