Police: Man arrested after entering school near 76th & Congress, locking himself in office

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police say a man was arrested after entering a school near 76th and Congress Thursday, November 3rd and locking himself in an office.

It happened at Craig Montessori School around 1:45 p.m.

Police say the 22-year-old man was able to get into the school as an authorized visitor entered the building.

The man then locked himself in the office and refused to exit.

He was eventually arrested without incident.

The investigation is ongoing -- and charges of disorderly conduct and possession of drug paraphernalia will be presented to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office in the coming days.
