Police make four arrests in Jeffrey Garnier homicide case

WEST ALLIS --The West Allis Police Department announced Tuesday the arrest of three men and a woman involved in the homicide of Jeffrey Garnier. The suspects range in age from 47 to 17, and charges are expected from the Milwaukee County District Attorney's office. They have been booked by West Allis police for robbery and homicide.
Garnier's body was found lying in the roadway near 91st and Lincoln, and surveillance video showed four men chasing Garnier down, one man punching Garnier, and a man reaching into Garnier's pockets before the four attackers fled the scene in a vehicle.

Police say they've arrested 47-year-old Danny Thompson, 38-year-old Lina Pezanoski, and 17-year-old Javasi Pezanoski-Young of West Allis, and 18-year-old Qwajavious Pittman of Milwaukee in connection with this case. Police say the three from West Allis live in the same residence. Police say the individuals were cooperative with law enforcement and gave complete statements regarding their involvement in this homicide.

Police received a call around 2:30 a.m. November 20th, and found Garnier's body lying in the roadway. Police say Garnier was unconscious and unresponsive, and they had initially thought he had been drinking, but were not able to determine what caused the injuries.

Garnier was taken to Aurora West Allis Medical Center where he suffered a stroke and was found to have a blood alcohol level of .194. He was transferred to St. Luke's Medical Center where he died on November 25th. An autopsy revealed Garnier died from complications of blunt force trauma to the head.

Garnier's family had offered a $10,000 reward for any information leading to an arrest in this case.
