Police investigate armed robbery near Newhall & Newport

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred Tuesday night, March 26th near Newhall and Newport.

According to police, a 20-year-old South Milwaukee man and three 19-year-old Milwaukee men were walking together on the street when they were approached by three suspects, one of whom was armed with a handgun.

The suspects demanded valuables and fled after receiving money and property from the victims.

A 27-year-old Milwaukee man has been arrested in connection with this offense.

Milwaukee Police continue to seek the other two suspects.
