Police: Driver veers into opposite lane, dies after head-on crash at 46th & Burleigh

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are investigating a fatal crash that happened at 46th and Burleigh around 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 1st.

Officials say a 42-year-old Milwaukee woman was driving her vehicle westbound on Burleigh when she veered into the opposite lane and struck a vehicle being driven by a 59-year-old Milwaukee woman.

The 42-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene.  The 59-year-old woman was transferred to a hospital with serious injuries.
