Police arrest four following armed robbery Friday night
MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred on Friday night, October 25th in the 2200 block of N. 53rd Street.
Police say four people were approached by four suspects -- one of which was armed with a handgun.
The suspects demanded property from the victims, and once their property was obtained the suspects fled in a 1999 Dodge Neon.
Then, two police officers spotted the suspect vehicle and conducted a traffic stop.
The officers arrested all four suspects: a 17-year-old male, a 23-year-old male, a 19-year-old male, and a 16-year-old female.
A purse and a laptop belonging to the victims was recovered.
Officers also recovered a semi-automatic handgun on the 17-year-old passenger of the suspect vehicle.
During a subsequent interrogation a police detective was able to elicit a confession from one of the suspects.
The investigation will continue with additional interrogations of the remainder of the suspects.
