Police arrest 12 after fight breaks out near 6th and Layton

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police on Wednesday, June 5th arrested 12 people involved in a fight near 6th and Layton.

It happened just before 1:00 p.m.

Police say the fight started when a disturbance created by a group of disorderly students walking to a bus stop turned physical.

Officers arrested one adult male, one adult female, five male juveniles, and three female juveniles for municipal charges.

In addition, officers arrested one adult male and one adult female for state disorderly conduct.  They will be referred to the Milwaukee County DA's Office for possible charges.
