Pedestrian hit near Pulaski High School

The Brief

    • A pedestrian was taken to the hospital after being hit by a vehicle near Pulaski High School on Tuesday.
    • Police say a 70-year-old crossing guard was hit shortly before 8 a.m. 
    • The driver remained on scene 

MILWAUKEE - A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle near Pulaski High School in Milwaukee on Tuesday morning, Jan. 6. 

What we know:

According to police, a vehicle going around another vehicle struck a crossing guard. The incident occurred shortly before 8 a.m. near 25th and Oklahoma. 

The pedestrian, a 70-year-old, was transported to a hospital for treatment of serious but non-fatal injuries.

The driver remained on scene and was cited for no insurance at this time.
