On Memorial Day, service, Civil War re-enactment held at Forest Home Cemetery in Milwaukee
MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- A history lesson at the Forest Home Cemetery on Memorial Day. A service was held on Monday morning, May 25th.
Then, Civil War era re-enactors played roles of soldiers returning home, as well as family members of service members.

It gave those in attendance a different perspective of the Civil War.
"I couldn't imagine my 15 or 13 just up leaving and going to war, but they did and it was a sense of responsibility for them," Hadassa Robinson said.
Lunch was served, with proceeds going toward the Forest Home Historic Preservation Association.
