Obamas, Clintons to join Joe Biden at funeral for son Beau

WASHINGTON — Vice President Joe Biden will mourn the death of his eldest son during a funeral in Delaware.

Former Delaware Attorney General Beau Biden's death at age 46 to brain cancer one week ago triggered an outpouring of grief around the country. The funeral Saturday caps three days of public mourning in the Biden family's hometown of Wilmington.

President Barack Obama will deliver a eulogy during the full Catholic Mass. Political luminaries like Hillary Rodham Clinton and former President Bill Clinton are also attending.

The funeral is being held at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church. Although the church typically seats less than 1,000 people, portable seats are being added to accommodate what officials expect to be a massive showing by politicians and Delaware residents alike.
