NOT GUILTY: Charged with domestic-related disorderly conduct, Waukesha Co. detective makes plea

WAUKESHA COUNTY (WITI) -- A Waukesha County detective whom co-workers have called "a hazard on the job" has pleaded not guilty to a charge of domestic-related disorderly conduct.

Pete Korns has been a detective at the Waukesha County Sheriff's Department for 26 years.

He has been reprimanded nine times since 2011 for misconduct, and co-workers say they're upset he's gotten to keep his job.

Korns is currently on administrative leave, and his police powers have been suspended while this case works its way through court.

Korns will next be in court on October 27th.
