MPD: Shooting investigation near N. 24th Pl. and W. Chambers St.

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee Police are investigating a shooting from the afternoon of Saturday, October 15th.

Officials say around 4 p.m., they were called to scene at N. 24th Pl. and W. Chambers St.

A 27-year-old Milwaukee woman reported she had heard shots before realizing that she had been struck by gunfire.

She only suffered a minor injury but was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Police say they are investigating the circumstances that led up the shooting since the victim is not being cooperative.
