Mother of homicide victim pleads for someone to step forward
RACINE -- The mother of a murder victim in Racine believes there are people in her neighborhood who know who fired the gun that killed her daughter, 19-year-old Faith Harrison. She wants them to step forward.
Brenda Cleveland has pictures of her daughter on her refrigerator and in scrap books. They're all over her house.
"She would call me and say, 'Hey beautiful." And so now I can't get that anymore and it really hurts," said Cleveland.
On Tuesday, July 31st, Harrison was on a porch on Racine's Packard Ave. with friends when gun shots rang out. A family member of someone who lives in the house says Harrison was visiting a boy who lives there.
Harrison died on Thursday, August 2nd.
"I just have to be strong," said Cleveland. "I have to be strong for my kids because I have two other small siblings here and I got three grandbabies."
Racine investigators were seen knocking on doors in the neighborhood on Friday, August 3rd. So far, there are no suspects.
