Milwaukee police: Nine-year-old girl reported missing found safe

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police say a nine-year-old girl is safe, after being reported missing Wednesday, March 16th.

Symone Washington was last seen near 39th and Lisbon around 5:00 p.m. Police say she was found safe Thursday morning in the same area.

MPD’s Sensitive Crimes Division was called out to the scene and the investigation as to the full circumstances of her disappearance is ongoing.
