Milwaukee police investigate fatal shooting near N. Sherman & Burleigh

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred at the intersection of N. Sherman and Burleigh Friday evening, August 12th.

The call to police came in at 6:00 p.m.

According to police, a 33-year-old man was driving near the intersection when he was shot -- he then crashed the vehicle nearby.

Police say the victim was transported to Froedtert Hospital where he died.

This shooting is now being investigated as a homicide.
