Milwaukee police: Four shot, injured in three separate shooting incidents

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are investigating three separate shooting incidents that occurred Wednesday, March 30th.

The first shooting occurred near 47th and Burleigh just before 6:00 p.m. According to police, a 17-year-old girl indicated that she was standing on the corner when she heard shots and realized she had been shot. She was able to get herself to the hospital where she received treatment for a non-life threatening injury.

The second shooting occurred around 8:40 p.m. near 40th and Nash. Police say a 23-year-old man reported that he was shot while in his vehicle by an occupant of another vehicle. He was able to get himself to the hospital, where he received treatment for a non-life threatening injury.

Police are also investigating a double shooting that occurred near 51st and Glendale around 11 p.m. Police say an 18-year-old woman and a 20-year-old man were shot by a 23-year-year-old man during a dispute in a residence.

Both victims received serious injuries and were transported to the hospital for treatment.
