Milwaukee Police Department to join the fight to keep MCTS buses safe



Milwaukee Police Chief Ed Flynn announced new safety measures to be implemented to ensure the safety of Milwaukee County bus riders in the City of Milwaukee. Officers will now be deployed to bus stops with a record of high violent incidents.

Milwaukee police officers will now board Milwaukee County Transit buses to do safety checks, and talk to bus passengers.

The chief also mentioned that the department made several arrests in the Dec. 12th incident that involved several teens fighting.
