McDonald's fight leads to arrest of nine teenagers

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Nine teenagers were arrested Friday afternoon, March 7th after a large fight broke out in the McDonald's near 60th and Silver Spring Rd.

Shortly before 5 p.m. a group of teen girls got off a city bus and headed for the restaurant. The girls began arguing over a boy before getting into an altercation inside the McDonald's lobby.

A group of teenage boys became involved in the fight as it spilled into the parking lot.

McDonald's personnel activated their alarm system, prompting Milwaukee police to respond to the scene.

Authorities arrested four teenage girls and five teenage boys on charges of disorderly conduct. The teens range in age from 13 to 16.

There were not injuries reported.
