The Kwik Trip 50K run returns to Waukesha on Saturday, June 28.

What you can do:

Now in its second year, the 50K takes runners around Waukesha with stops at seven Kwik Trip locations. It raises money for Band of Runners trail camp, which promotes the benefits of running for veterans and their families.

The race starts and ends at the Fox River Sanctuary, off of College Avenue just west of Prairie Avenue, at 7 a.m. 

Anyone is invited to participate in the "fun run." The goal is to raise enough money to sponsor 20 or more veterans at this year's trail camp in November. Donations can be made online.
