Kenosha Sheriff's officials deal with number of crashes due to snow

KENOSHA COUNTY (WITI) -- Kenosha County Sheriff's officials on Thursday, January 30th were busy dealing with a number of crash reports due to blowing and drifting snow.

The crash reports started coming in around 5:00 p.m. and since then, Sheriff's officials have responded to eight injury accidents -- six of which were rollovers.

Officials also responded to eight property damage only accidents and 26 calls for vehicles in ditches.

Most of the crashes were coming in from the western portion of the county -- in the Bristol/Salem area.

A Sheriff's lieutenant said one of the most troublesome spots was near Highway C and Highway 50.
