Kenosha hit with heavier snowfall than Milwaukee Friday

KENOSHA -- Mother Nature dumped about three inches of snow on Kenosha on Friday, which was about an inch more than the city of Milwaukee.

Because of the snow Friday, many began their Saturday morning with shovels and snow blowers in hand. Trucks came through neighborhoods plowing roads, but people still had to clear sidewalks at their homes.

Ben Peters got up early Saturday morning to do just that, even if he didn't enjoy it. "You know, the older I get, the less I like cleaning it up now," Peters said.

Peters said the cold doesn't bother him much, but shoveling the snow is no fun at all!

While the adults shoveled snow, the kids found ways to have fun in the fresh coat of snowfall.
