Homicide investigation: Man shot near 5th and Center after fight inside tavern

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are investigating a homicide that happened near 5th and Center Thursday evening, April 18. A 45-year-old man was shot.

According to police, a fight occurred inside of a tavern around 8:45 p.m. Police say the victim left the tavern -- and shots were fired outside.  The 45-year-old man suffered a fatal gunshot.

Detectives are continuing to investigate the motive and search for suspect(s).
