Developing: Milwaukee man shot several times, but expected to survive

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police say a 24-year-old man was shot several times in a neighborhood near 27th and Atkinson on Saturday evening, October 3rd.

The shooting happened just after 8:30 p.m. on W. Port Sunlight Way. Officials say the circumstances of this incident are not known at this time.

The victim was seriously injured but is expected to survive.

There are no suspects in custody.
