Developing: Man suffers life-threatening injuries after he was shot near 12th & Center

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are investigating a shooting that occurred on Thursday evening, July 9th near N. 12th Street and Center Street.

The call for this shooting came in shortly before 7:00 p.m.

The victim is a 27-year-old man. Police say he was shot in the chest, and he was taken to the hospital for treatment. His injuries are being considered life-threatening.

No one is in custody.
