MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- The Sheriff’s Office Bomb Squad responded to two calls Monday, June 10th in Milwaukee and Dodge counties.

At 3:35 p.m., the technicians inspected a cooler left near propane tanks in Milwaukee that looked suspicious, but was found to contain soda.

The second call, shortly after 5:00 p.m., was requested by the Dodge County Sheriff’s Department regarding blasting caps found in a barn in Mayville.

The sheriff’s bomb technicians rendered safe 20 blasting caps using standard EOD techniques.

This was the fourth call for EOD response the Sheriff’s Office responded to this week.
