MPD launches 2026 Operation Summer Guardian
Milwaukee Police have launched the 5th annual Operation Summer Guardian initiative. The program aims to address gun violence in neighborhoods with a high frequency of reported shootings by increasing community engagement. Assistant Chief Paul Lough joined us in studio to discuss how the department hopes to curb crime as they anticipate an uptick in summer crime.
