Deer Crashing Through Apartment Window Caught on Bodycam

Two police officers in Appleton, Wisconsin, were completely unfazed as a deer came crashing out of an apartment window on Tuesday, October 20. Bodycam footage from the Appleton Police Department shows its officers responding to an apartment building after a deer had entered the residence by jumping through another window while no one was home. Video shows the animal breaking back out through a separate window and running off, appearing uninjured, as responding officers calmly look on. “While a deer entering an apartment is certainly unusual, increased deer movement this time of year is not,” police said. “Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) identifies October and November as the months when most deer-vehicle collisions occur, as deer become more active during the fall breeding season.”
