After progress in recovery, 19-year-old man dies from accident at State Fair
MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- A 19-year-old man died Monday, August 12th at Froedtert Hospital, after sustaining traumatic head injuries during a fall from a moving pick-up truck at the State Fairgrounds on Saturday, August 3rd.The victim is identified as John Klossner, who would have been a sophomore this year at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.According to officials, Klossner was part of a group, which was brought in to handle cattle at the State Fair.

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- August 7th holds a special place in the hearts of Joe Zubarik and Amanda Langfeldt, who met five years ago, to the day, at the Wisconsin State Fair's Giant Slide for their very first date."It was our first date and I knew right then and there I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her," said Zubarik. "Every year we come here and take a picture in front of it and this year I decided to do something a little bit more than just a picture."On the five year anniversary of their first date, Zubarik gathered the courage to do something big -- dropping hints for Langfeldt along the way.As they walked the stairs to the top and took a ride down, hand-in-hand, Langfeldt was under the impression FOX6 was focusing on a story about rides at the fair.But when they reached the bottom, Zubarik dropped to his knee."I've been wanting to do this for a really long time," said Zubarik. "I want to spend the rest of my life with you, Amanda.
