Frontier Airlines adding three more non-stop destinations from Mitchell Airport

MILWAUKEE -- Frontier Airlines is adding three more non-stop destinations from General Mitchell International Airport.Frontier will begin offering non-stop flights from Milwaukee to Philadelphia, Dallas and Atlanta in April.Other airlines at Mitchell already serve those destinations, although Frontier will be the first discount carrier offering non-stop service to Philadelphia.To introduce the flights, Frontier will offer a special discount fare of $49 one way to Atlanta and Philadelphia, with a $59 fare to Dallas.CLICK HERE for more on this story via the Milwaukee Business Journal.

Racine Co. family reunited with dog Violet, who went missing after crash on I-94

RACINE — A Racine County family whose dog was killed in a crash on I-94 on New Year's Eve has been reunited with a second dog that went missing after the accident.The dogs were in a car driven by AlGene Caraulia's mother that was struck by a stolen vehicle on I-94 on Thursday, December 31st.She was not significantly injured.But one of the family's dogs, Zoom, was struck and killed by another vehicle after the accident.

MILWAUKEE -- It's certainly tough out there on the roads on Monday, December 28th as snow fell, and that snow was eventually expected to turn into a wintry mix -- with sleet and freezing rain possible.A Winter Storm Warning took effect Monday morning for all of southeastern Wisconsin.That warning remains in effect until 6:00 a.m. Tuesday.For some, Monday was the first time this year that they were forced to drive amid a wintry mess.The PSA you'll see below from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation illustrates the importance of taking it slow when roads are slick.The PSA, which was released back in 2011, shows "drivers" on skates on the ice -- to illustrate what can happen on slick roads when people are distracted, or driving too quickly.It seems in Wisconsin we all have to re-learn how to drive each winter amid the snow, the ice, and the freezing rain.Take it slow out there folks!The PSA is part of the Wisconsin DOT's "Zero in Wisconsin" campaign -- an effort to aim for zero deaths on Wisconsin's roads.WATCH:
