Milwaukee police: Murder victims ID'd in violent weekend

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police have identified the victims of two weekend homicides.Milwaukee police say 34-year-old Tycer Lee was shot and killed near 29th and Lisbon on Saturday, May 17th.Police have arrested the suspect believed to be responsible for this homicide.Milwaukee police have identified the two individuals shot and killed in a triple shooting that occurred on Sunday afternoon, May 18th -- Milwaukee's "Ceasefire Sabbath."The victims in that shooting are 49-year-old Marvin Smith and 31-year-old Wilbert Lewis.Police say no arrests have been made in connection with this shooting incident.

Tavern dispute leads to gunfire, search for suspects

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- A 32-year-old man was shot and wounded on Milwaukee's north side on Friday evening, May 16th after what police called a tavern-related dispute.The shooting happened near 27th and Atkinson around 8:45 p.m. -- but the victim was found by police and fire personnel near 27th and Capitol.The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries.There are no suspects in custody at this time.
