KENOSHA (WITI) -- We're getting our first look inside the second of two new Amazon Fulfillment Centers in Kenosha!"It's so much bigger than you would expect like, just driving by," Indian Trail High School student Addyson Harshburger said.On Thursday, January 29th, a FOX6 News crew was inside the Amazon Fulfillment Center as construction continues in Kenosha."When it is fully operational, we will have millions and millions of products stored in this facility," Amazon spokeswoman Nina Lindsey said.The building measures more than one million square feet!"There's enough steel inside this Fulfillment Center to build the Eiffel Tower twice!" Lindsey said.When it is operational, this building is expected to provide 1,000 full-time positions.

KENOSHA (WITI) -- Amazon.com is preparing to move into the first of two new buildings in Kenosha by the end of the week.The online retailer has submitted applications to the city with the intent of occupying one building by the end of the week.The nearly 500,000 square foot building is the smaller of two Amazon distribution centers under construction.Amazon estimated up to 575 full-time jobs for that facility.The larger building is expected to open in the spring.CLICK HERE for more on this story via the Milwaukee Business Journal.
