Witnesses report shots fired during basketball game in Racine

RACINE -- According to the Racine Journal Times, during a basketball game Saturday afternoon, someone fired a gun inside the Racine Community Center.

The Times says it happened around 4:30 Saturday afternoon. Witnesses reported hearing about six shots fired at the John Bryant Community Center near 21st and Grand Avenue.



Racine police said when officers searched the building, they didn't find any evidence a gun had been fired.

Police questioned a few people, but no one was arrested.
