On July 22, investigators said the 39-year-old Milwaukee man got a ride to a smoke shop at Appleton Avenue and Congress Street.

A Milwaukee man is wanted for killing father and business owner Keyawn Davis inside his north side smoke shop last Wednesday, July 22.
"The witness accounts say they go inside. He’s been there several times. He believes that they have some type of business arrangement," the marshal said.
A criminal complaint explains that witnesses said Johnson locked the doors of the store, then they heard a noise. They said Johnson ran out with duffel bags, then took off in a truck. When police arrived, they found 44-year-old Keyawn Davis with a gunshot wound to the back of the head.

It was devastating news to his family.
"I’m just lost for words because he didn’t deserve what happened to him, but we will see justice. We will seek justice," said Kemeelah Fair, the victim's sister, the day of the shooting.

"He could be here in Milwaukee. He’s got connections to Texas, Georgia, Las Vegas," the investigator explained.

The 39-year-old has a lengthy criminal history, from car thefts to drugs and armed robbery. On the streets, he is known as "Red." He has several tattoos on his face, including a money sign by his left eye and the words "Crime Pays" written across his neck.
"Just turn yourself in. We’re going to find you. It’s just a matter of time," a marshal said.
