Weekend violence continues: Police on scene of separate shootings, one a double shooting on Sunday

MILWAUKEE -- Four people were killed in separate homicides during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend -- and the violence didn't end there. On Sunday evening, November 29th, police were on the scene of two separate shootings. None of these incidents was fatal.

The first shooting occurred near Fond du Lac and Mill Road.

Police say two men from Milwaukee, ages 66 and 22, were shot while at a bus stop.

The 22-year-old man engaged in an altercation with a third, unknown man, who then produced a firearm and began shooting, police say.

No one is in custody. The circumstances surrounding this shooting are under investigation.

Thirty minutes later, a 37-year-old Milwaukee woman was shot while leaving a tavern near Bremen and E. Clarke Street.

No one is in custody -- and the circumstances surrounding this incident are under investigation.
