Violence continues, as MPD investigates two shootings from overnight Saturday

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police are investigating two shootings that occurred late Saturday night, August 10th.

The first occurred in the 3000 block of N. 55th Sreet, just after 11:00 p.m.

Police say the victim suffered two gunshout wounds and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

The second shooting occurred in the 2900 block of N. 18th Street just before midnight.

Police say a 14-year-old boy suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Police believe this incident was the result of an attempted drug transaction.
