Three teenagers shot, injured while playing pickup basketball
MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police were on the scene of a triple shooting Monday night, August 26th.
It happened near the intersection of 26th and Orchard around 6:30 p.m.
Police say three teens were shot: a 15-year-old, a 16-year-old and a 17-year-old.
FOX6 News has learned the preliminary information MPD is getting about this incident is that it started with a game of pickup basketball, during which an argument apparently ensued.
Police believe someone at the scene called friends to come help settle the dispute, and that's when the shooting occurred.
No one is in custody in connection with this shooting incident -- and the extent of the injuries suffered remains unclear at this time.
