Threats at Chuck E. Cheese; Man accused of threatening guard, officer

TOWN OF BROOKFIELD, Wis. - A 36-year-old Milwaukee man is accused of being disorderly at a Chuck E. Cheese restaurant, threatening a security guard and arresting officer. The accused is Antwan Shockley – and he faces the following criminal counts:
- Threat to a law enforcement officer
- Disorderly conduct
- Misdemeanor bail jumping

What we know:
According to the criminal complaint, Town of Brookfield police were dispatched to the Chuck E. Cheese restaurant on W. Bluemound Road on the afternoon of Saturday, Jan. 18 in response to a disorderly customer.
When officers arrived, they spoke with a security guard who reported a man was "using profane language and staring at other guests at Chuck E. Cheese. He explained that the suspect was aggressive...and balled up his fists," the complaint says. The guard also mentioned that "the part the suspect was with appeared to be scared, as if they wanted him to leave," the complaint says.

Officers made contact with the defendant as he was leaving the restaurant. During this interaction, the complaint says "the defendant then threatened (an officer), loudly stating that he was going to kick (the officer's) face in. (The officer) took this as a threat to his safety," the complaint says. After getting identification from the defendant, officers learned that Shockley had an active warrant issued for his arrest. The defendant was taken into custody.
The defendant was taken to the Waukesha County Jail. On the way, the defendant was told he was not allowed to return to Chuck E. Cheese. The complaint says the defendant then stated, "It don't really matter, 'cause I'm going to kill that security guard anyway." When they arrived at the jail, the complaint says the defendant "became aggressive and stated that he was going to 'kick (an officer's) (expletive).'" The defendant continued to make verbal threats that he planned to kill the officer, the complaint says.

Shockley made his initial appearance in Waukesha County court on Tuesday, Jan. 21. Cash bond as set at $1,000.
