Shotgun-wielding 'Southern Momma' blows away her 'disrespectful' kids' iPhones

A fed-up mother took a shotgun and sledgehammer out to the yard to teach her children a lesson about the dangers of social media and cellphones.

That lesson, it turned out, involved her blowing the devices to smithereens as the less-than-thrilled teens watched.

"I hereby denounce the effects that social media have on my children, their disobedience and disrespect," the woman, identified only as "Southern Momma" said.

Seconds later, she opened fire. She used the sledgehammer to finish the job.

"My children's lives are more important to me than any electronic on this Earth," she said.

The video was uploaded a year ago, but recently went viral.
