Second man charged in 2005 triple homicide due in court

RACINE (WITI) -- 31-year-old Demetrus Ozier, the Racine man facing charges in connection with a triple homicide that occurred in Racine back in 2005, is due in court Tuesday, June 18th.

Ozier is facing two counts of first-degree intentional homicide and four counts of attempted first-degree intentional homicide.

Ozier is the second man to face charges in connection with the incident.

Officials say Ozier was located and arrested by United States Marshals in Memphis, Tennessee Thursday, May 30th for his connection in the death of Aaron Woods, Ryan Lockridge and Frank Mister. All three men were all shot and killed in the 1300 block of Washington Avenue in the early morning hours of July 17, 2005.

29-year-old Juwan Matthews of Racine is also facing two counts of first-degree intentional homicide and four counts of attempted first-degree intentional homicide in connection with the incident.
