Salon hosts fundraiser for children of detective who died after childbirth

MERTON (WITI) -- An event was held on Saturday, April 5th to benefit the newborn twins of Stacie Napoli. Napoli passed away on February 17th, due to complications after giving birth.

Saturday's event was held at The Scizzory on Main Street.

Napoli had been a client of The Scizzory and lived in Merton. She was a West Allis Police Detective.

Haircuts on Saturday were $15 for children, $20 for men and $30 for women.

The event was held from noon until 4:00 p.m.

The Scizzory is donating all proceeds, including tips to Napoli's children.

"She was a sweetheart. We loved her, and we know that those kids are going to need a lot of care and a lot of money -- and that's why we're doing this, so we can help them have a good start," The Scizzory owner Jane Pientka said.

39-year-old Napoli was a 17-year veteran of the West Allis Police Department and served in the military.
