Salem Lakes rollover crash; 2 hospitalized

SALEM LAKES, Wis. - Two people were taken to the hospital after a rollover crash in Salem Lakes on Sunday, Jan. 19.

What we know:

Kansasville Fire & Rescue Department said it happened before 4 p.m. near the 6700 block of CTH BD in Salem Lakes.

A white Dodge Durango was found off the roadway, east of the paved northbound traffic lanes. The vehicle had extensive damage.

Initial observations indicated that the Durango had apparently been traveling southbound on CTH BD when it left the roadway, then impacted a tree and rolled over before finally landing upright.

Kansasville Fire & Rescue Department

Emergency responders transported the driver and another passenger to the hospital. Officials said there were no life-threatening injuries.

The Kenosha County Sheriff's Department is investigating the cause of the crash.
