Running Rebels make a difference in community

MILWAUKEE -- The Running Rebels are making a difference with at-risk young people in Milwaukee. It's an incredible program started 30 years ago by Victor Barnett.

Barnett and others like Dale Williams influenced the lives of lots of young people. Branden Joseph was one of them -- and now he's paying it forward.

Joseph now feels it is his duty to give back as a basketball coach and mentor in the Running Rebels program.
Joseph will never become a rich NBA player. But nobody can put a price tag on the help he is now offering to young people these days. He says it might not have happened without the Running Rebels and basketball.
