Rick Santorum: I provide best contrast with Obama

WAUKESHA -- After one week of campaigning in Wisconsin, Santorum tells FOX6 he's plans to "burn the candle at both ends" to win over the state's voters.

"We have a good hard work ethic.  That’s the way we’ve been able to be successful in this campaign, just try to work harder than everybody else," said Santorum.

At a dinner event with Waukesha County Republicans, Santorum said he feels he's the most electable candidate, and offers the best contrast with President Obama, especially when it comes to health care reform.

" is the worst opponent in the country to put up against Barack Obama," said Santorum.

Earlier in the day, Santorum's wife was at the Wisconsin Conservative Conference in Wauwatosa, talking about his home life.

Karen Santorum described her husband of 22 years as a devout Christian, father and husband.  She compared her husband's campaign to one Biblical story.

"Rick is David, up against Goliath.  And we all know what happened there," said Karen Santorum.
