MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- The Milwaukee Business Journal says a new report on the impact of increasing the minimum wage in Wisconsin says it would not hurt the economy or result in job loss.
The report was done by the UW-Madison-based "Center on Wisconsin Strategy."
State Democrats debuted the report Monday morning, February 24th in their push to support a gradual increase that would result in a $10.10 minimum wage.
Last week, a federal report showed that raising the minimum wage would reduce total employment by about 500,000 workers nationwide.
