MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are investigating a shooting that happened late Wednesday night, Aug. 28 near 12th and Locust.

Police say a 24-year-old man was shot outside of a residence around 11:20 p.m.

He suffered serious gunshot wounds and was taken to a local hospital.
