Police: Man in his 40s shot, injured near 34th & Meinecke, no one in custody

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a shooting that occurred on Monday evening, May 4th near N. 34th Street and Meinecke Avenue.

The call for the shooting came into police around 5:30 p.m.

Police say a male victim in his 40s was shot and drove himself to a hospital for treatment. He is expected to survive.

No one is in custody.
